Founding Members:
Founding members are the people who signed the constituent documents of the Latin American business in meetings conducted in Córdoba, Argentina, in 1970 and in Mexico City in 1972.

Active Members:
May be an active member of the nephrologist SLANH all belonging to one of the National Society of Nephrology. In order to perform the SLANH positions, either on the Board, Council and / or support committees should be included in the category of active members, to which must be paid a $ 100 tuition.

Associate Members:
Active members or holders of the National Society of Nephrology recognized by the SLANH.

Corresponding Members:
Those nephrologists who reside in Latin America, with the exception of American nephrologists in the U.S. and Canada.

Honorary Members
Individuals who have contributed exceptional merit to the knowledge of nephrology.

Benefactor Members:
Individuals, corporations, foundations and other organizations that contribute financially to the SLANH.

Member Societies:
are the National Societies of Nephrology, represented in the SLANH at the time of the enactment of these statutes.

Affiliated Companies:
are the scientific societies in the area of ​​nephrology and related sciences.
